Re: How To Solve This 'Intel Turbo Boost Max 3.0' Startup Annoyance?

$

Thank you, Mr Campos. I uninstalled the version 1.0.0.1033 of the "Intel Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0 software and rebooted before installing version 1.1.0.1005. On the first and (so far) only restart the pop-up window did not appear. This is promising and I will continue to test for a time. If the annoyance is solved an upload of the log will be unnecessary.

Your support was valuable (although reasonably expected) as the tasks required in this instance were beyond either the willingness or skillset of CyberpowerPC. I'd sent them an e-mail which has received no response.

Hello MalcolmD

Thank you for the information.

In this case, with Intel UHD graphics the discrete video card is not necessary for the setting if the MOBO has one DP output and to HDMI output, but you need to verify the valid/supported configuration; in case of using the discrete video card is important to verify with the MOBO manufacturer that it can handle Intel® HD graphics + discrete card.

Refer to the following link for the Intel® Core™ i7-9700K Processor specification:

https://ark.intel.com/products/186604/Intel-Core-i7-9700K-Processor-12M-Cache-up-to-4-90-GHz-

I would recommend contacting the Intel distributor of your preference for the product availability.

Hope this helps.

Hi dwarfcow,

Thank you for posting in the Intel® communities.

Could you please confirm if you are trying to accelerate a RAID 1 array or just a secondary drive? I’m a little bit confused about this.

On the other hand, could you please download the Intel® System Support Utility (SSU) from the following site and run the full report to collect your system information? The tool can be downloaded from this site: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows-. Please attach the report file in your response.

Please also take a screenshot of the following information:

  1. Open your Command Prompt as Administrator.
  2. Run the command Diskpart.
  3. Run the command list disk. Please take a screenshot of the output and include it in your response too.

I’ll be waiting for your response.

Have a nice day.

Hello Dmitry,

Thank you for contacting Intel(R) Technical Support.

I understand that you want to confirm if the Intel(R) Server Board S2600CWTR  is compatible with the HYPER M.2 X16 CARD V2 Card.

I checked the Intel Tested Hardware and Operating System List, and the card is not showing as a compatible product with this Server Board.

The Card, comes with VRoC technology and this Server Board does not come with that technology. You need a Sever Board VRoC technology included.

I hope the information provided helps3
If you have any question, please let me know.

Best regards,

Hello Gunnar68

Thank you for waiting. I have used the youtube video that you have shared with us to test in the Intel® NUC Kit NUC8i7BEH connected by  HDMI cable to a display LG* 55UH5800-UA (reference link: https://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-55UH8500-4k-uhd-tv) once the 3D is enabled on Windows and the correct 3D TV setting, I was able to enjoy the 3D video.

See the attached file for the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows*of the system used on the test.

Hope this helps.

I'm sorry but this is totally unacceptable from both Intel and Microsoft.  it's been over 2 weeks and my ability to overclock on the i7 6950X is completely broken! even after i uninstalled the KB4100347  update the problem STILL persists.  It's permanent!  so angry and frustrated right now!

I'm not sure if I've understood correctly your question. I understand that you ask how to set the Power Settings in Windows? Fact that you are using a SSD doesn't affect this settings.

I'll give here an example of Power Setting I'm using in my system:

1. Settings>System>Power & Sleep - you can set any desirable time for Screen and  Sleep, I've set 10 min for Screen and NEVER for Sleep.

2. Now press on the Power & Sleep screen on Additional power settings (on the R.H. side). On Power Option screen, press on Choose what the power buttons do.  In the Shutdown settings I've the Hibernate option disabled. All other three options are enabled.

Hi,

I got a laptop Dell Latitude E6440 with Intel Centrino Advanced N 6235 card installed. I will attach the specifications for Intel Centrino Advanced N 6235.

If I want to replace this Wireless card what are the options? Which Wireless cards are compatible for this laptop?

Thank you,

I've got a new laptop (ACER Aspire 3 A315-51-3388) with i3 8th Generation and 16 GB Optane memory.

The speed is really amazing, BUT

for the second time now I am experiencing the same problem as described here:

The operating system did not shutdown cleanly. Reconstructing cache - Microsoft Community

The system is not booting any more!

W!th some trial an error (including restoration of a system checkpoint from the repair console) it has come back to live.

I understand, that the problem seems to be an inconsistancy of the Optane and HDD data, which should be automatically reconstructed.

The automatic reconstruction, however, does not seem to work, so the systems is stopped.

How can this state be created?

What can be done to avoid it?

What can be done to properly synchronize Optane memory and HDD data?

Intel SA 00075 Not being installed - stuck in installing

HI I am having a bit of a problem with my last domain with the deployment of the Intel SA 00075.

I am able to deploy the discovery tool to all of the workstations and it is reporting back with no issues, but when I try and sequence to install the firmware, I have found that the TS just sits within the Software Center with the word installing. and nothing happens.

I have gone through the AppDiscovery and App Enforce log files and I am not able to see any issues in there, and I also check the smsts log and this also don't show anything usefully.

A quick back story which I think might be coursing this is that I had to rebuild my Config Manager server 3 times was the Intel discovery / Firmware was going out, and I think that this might be a part of the issue.

I am able to manual install the software with no issues and then the Intel Discovery see's the new firmware and update the database but I am just having issue is the deployment of the firmware to this domain.

Has anyone else had this issue ? or know a way to reset the workstation to a point that it no long anything able the INTEL firmware update to see if this can resove the issue.

Turn on UHD color? Display cables?

Please read what I wrote again. UHD works. The headset works. But the headset stops working when UHD is enabled.

Sorry, I'm not wasting my time providing info about cables and duplicating SSU data until someone confirms their WMR headset works with Windows HDR enabled on their AMD based NUC.

Re: Your system has detected one or more errors: optane on secondary drive

Hi jordanj,

Thank you for posting in the Intel® communities.

From the screenshot, it looks like the issue relies on the drive and not the Intel® Optane™ Memory.

Before doing anything, please back up any important data in the drive.

Once you have backed up the data, please try to disable the module from the application to deconcatenate it from the drive. If you get any error here, please take a screenshot.

Then, try to enable again the module. If you get any error here, please take a screenshot too.

It may be possible that you will need to format the secondary drive, but let's try this first to see if you get any error message in the module setup process.

I’ll be waiting for your response.

Have a nice day.

Diego V.

Re: How to connect D435 realsense to  intel aero rtf existing RealSense R200 pin

Hello trgiman,

The RealSense D435 camera has 9 pins that you can connect with an external sensor connector (page 46, Table 3-33. External Sensor Connector Details from the datasheet), while the Aero Compute Board USB3 connector is not compatible with it.

You can build your own or buy cables/connectors that are compatible with the Aero Board, but we cannot recommend one. (check the datasheet for more information on this matter.)

We have not tried this yet, but you can experiment and see what will be the outcome.

Best regards,
Eliza

SSD doesn't show in Storage System Status

Hi,

I just build a new system which is fully functional (I am typing on this new system).

However, for some reason, Intel Rapid Storage Technology program does not see my SSD.

Below is the copy of system report and it seems that the program is seeing my drive as unknown drive?

Can anyone figure out a way for this program to recognize my SSD?

Thank you.

Peter
