Hello An.C

Thank you for the information.

    1. Run the utility.
    2. Click on “Scan” to get the scanned system.
    3. Once the scan is complete click on “next”.
    4. Use the “save” option, save the report to your desktop.
    5. To attach a file, you must click the “Attach” option on the bottom right-hand corner of the response box.

    • What is the brand and model of the display?
    • What driver versions have been tested on the system?
    • Where you able to see the HDMI audio in the playback device at some point?
    • Is this OS a new recent installation?

    Hope this helps.

    Hi AvengerDE,

Thank you for posting in the Intel® communities.

As you are using a laptop with an Intel® Optane™ Memory, I recommend you to contact ACER* directly about this issue. The Intel® Optane™ Memory should come enabled on laptops, so they should provide assistance on this issue, especially if you have recently bought the laptop.

I haven’t seen this issue with the Intel® Optane™ Memory, however a Desktop system is not the same as a laptop system, so it may be possible that this issue was caused by something else besides the Intel® Optane™ Memory. Laptops usually come with additional features added by the manufacturer so before making any changes in the system, it’s always better to contact the manufacturer for assistance.

    Have a nice day.

    Regards,
    Diego V.

    Hello slyh,
    Thank you for your patience.
In this case, based on the 802.11ac channel listing, the only supported Channel Width for the channel 36 and 48 is 20 MHz.
For any other channel that you might be using, please use this table as a reference:

    Capture.PNG

This explains the issue that you are encountering as the 80 MHz Channel Width is reserved only for the channels 42, 58, 106, 122, 138, 155
Please let me know if you have any other concern

    Hello Tarkky,

Thank you so much for contacting us and provide us the information.

Could you please so kind and performed the following steps:

Set BIOS to Default (Clearing the CMOS)

To clear the CMOS, perform the following steps:
    1. Power down the server. Unplug the power cord.
    2. Open the server chassis. For instructions, see your server chassis documentation.
    3. Move jumper from the default operating position (covering pins 1 and 2) to the reset/clear
position (covering pins 2 and 3).
    4. Wait five seconds.
    5. Move the jumper back to the default position (covering pins 1 and 2).
    6. Close the server chassis.
    7. Install AC power cord.
    8. Power up the server and access the BIOS setup utility by <F2>
    9. Verify the BIOS default operation was successful by view the Error Manager screen. Two
    errors should be logged:

    • 5220 BIOS Settings reset to default settings
    • 0012 System RTC date/time not set

The CMOS is now cleared and can be reset by going into the BIOS setup.

    Best regards,

I was able to get the ESXI installer to boot on the following environment:

    NUC: NUC8BEH

    BIOS: 48

ESXi version: VMware-VMvisor-Installer-6.7.0-8169922.x86_64.iso (Used rufus 3.3 to Sandisk 16GB Cruzer Glide)

This was my process that I can recall:

    1. Disable Secure boot

    2. Set USB to boot first

    3. Disable UEFI

    4. Enable Legacy boot

Once I had finished all those steps I was able to get past the "Firmware Services Shutting down" page(not all may be required. I would venture to say just the last two were needed) . It is also worth mentioning that now I am stuck on a "NIC Not found" during the ESXi installer, so I am looking for a way past that now. I will keep looking back at this threadevery so often to see if I can help answer any other questions or if anyone gets past the NIC not found error.

    Thank you

just to be a bit more clear with step 3. I meant to say "Disable UEFI Boot." Left that step a little vague

Can't uninstall Intel Network Connections drivers

Today I traded an Asus Rampage V Edition 10 motherboard for an Asus X -99 E-10G WS. The Rampage board just tried out. So I replaced the hard drive and all worked well except I cannot uninstall the Intel LAN drivers so I can connect to the internet.

Here is what I have tried:

    1. The Microsoft Program install and uninstall utility

    2. The Windows install cleanup

    3/ Ccleaner

    4. Advanced uninstaller pro 12

    5. Deleted several times from Device Manager the Ethernet drivers. They always come back.

I am running Windows 10, 64-bit. Please help. I called Asus and they only recommended a fresh Windows install. I can't do that since I have about 300 programs on the drive and it would take a week to put those back on. Please help. I have spent about five hours on this and haven't fixed it.

    Re: Possible NUC5PGHY Wireless Upgrade

I decided to give it a try and ordered a 9260 Wireless adapter card for $30 from Amazon.  It looked identical in shape and slot layout.

I opened my NUC5PGHY and disconnected the two antenna wires and the screw holding the adapter in place.  The new 9260 adapter slide right in and I reattached the antenna wires and reinserted the screw.

I buttoned up the NUC and fired it up and the 9260 card was NOT detected by Windows 10.  It did not show in Device Manager and I had no WiFi network listed.  I downloaded and installed the latest Intel 9260 WiFi and Bluetooth drivers but it still was not being listed in Device Manager.

Every other 9260/Windows 10 issue I could locate on the web at least had the adapter listed in Device Manager.

Unless I am missing something it looks like the 9260 Wireless/Bluetooth  adapter in NOT hardware compatible with the NUC5PGHY and I will have to go back to the original 3165 adapter that came with the unit.

Intel as you can see was NO help at all which is pretty pathetic support in my opinion especially since they are both Intel products..

Two days ago I took unit to office and LEDs are recovered. It looks like leaving unit without power connected for few hours helped.

Had the same happen last week only 2 led on front working  all rest off or dimed to Zero, A reset  of bios did not do squat to fix so unplugged unit for 15 minuets and this was enough time for it to reset the problem and all working again, and they has been good since looks like you need to do remove the power to have them working correctly once they stop working.

    Re: Disparity shift

My understanding of the disparity shift is basically the "search range" along epipolar lines. The way depth matching works, you are trying to match two pixels (one in the left view and one in the right view). Their distance apart (in pixel space) is related to how far they are in physical space. By changing the disparity shift value, you are effectively limiting this search range (search for pixels close to each other, you see near; search for pixels far apart from each other, you see far). This is exactly how human vision works, as Marty explained in a previous post.

Intel recently stated during an online webinar session that the camera lenses can not be changed without breaking the camera.  On large volume orders though, Intel are willing to work with companies on custom designs.

Intel also have some RealSense camera configurations that are not available through consumer retail channels and can be supplied to customers that Intel have special agreements with.  You can contact through support.intel.com, or through the GitHub, or NDA customers can use their own Zendesk contact channel.

An example of exotic configurations is a camera with a longer baseline.

Same issue on Win 10 Pro  Versio 1809 ("Redstone 5")  build 17763.55

I bought a brand new I210-T1 GbE NIC, installed, Windows recognised it with own drivers but no VLAN setting available.

Hence downloaded and installed drivers for Win10x64 version 23.2 from Intel.

Now I am able to create VLANs which creates new network adapters.

Now all adapters are disabled and I cannot enable them.

Windows was already on current version when I installed the network card.

I've submitted support request no.  03682439
