Yes, you can always install Windows® 10, but as you can confirm in the link provided previously, when we looked for drivers for that operating system, it is not showing as supported.

 

In this case then, what we recommend is to get in contact directly with Asus so they can confirm if Windows® 10 is compatible with the board and where to get the drivers for it, including the proper version of Intel® RST:

Same issue after the October upgrade. I am guessing the Version check of the driver is failing. Teaming will not enable.

1. Logitech mouse/keyboard set should not be a problem. If it works in normal operation, should wake your NUC too.

2. Could be that the problem of not waking from USB, caused by enabling Deep S4/S5 in Secondary Power Settings. The Deep S4/S5 is enabled by default if you have selected in Primary Power Settings, either, Balanced Enabled or Low Power Enabled. If Max  Performance Enabled is set, the Deep S4/S5 is by default disabled. To see the Deep S4/S5 status, remove the check mark from your Primary Power mode.

3. The S3 sleep state is disabled also if you have enable Intel Ready Mode technology.

If your new board (and its bios) supports the i7-4770, and if the board supports PCIe x16 3.0,, and if your new graphics card is compatible with the new motherboard, then you will likely have no problems.   There are a lot of "ifs" in here.

Use 1803.  The "NA" is just indicating that the data is "Not Available", correct?  And, you are trusting Wikipedia for data accuracy?

Hi Yes_R,

 

Just make sure you check all the specifications when searching for / buying a mainboard for the 4th gen i7.

Like Al Hill mentioned make sure the CPU is supported and preferably that the PCI Express slot is 3.0 (It will work on 2.0 / 1.0 but slower).

After update windows 10 1809 the driver intel Versão: 25.20.100.6323 do with that control painel stop running.

My windows is running no error with any people show error deleted files. but in click in control painel the windows closed any time.

unistaler the driver  intel Versão: 25.20.100.6323 and back driver version win64_24.20.100.6194 no error and any no problem.

With someone, this happened.

In this case, please try to install the latest version of the Intel® Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0 driver in order to get rid of the pop up.
Also,  in order for me to assist you better, please provide me with the .txt file that the System Support Utility will generate. To attach a file, you must click the “Attach” option on the bottom right-hand corner of the response box.

Thanks @qrish, this solution worked for me too. It also solved a problem I was having before the Windows 1809 update, where playing videos of certain formats would cause a BSOD. I hadn't associated that problem with turning on the Core Isolation, but it seems it was related, and now I can use Netflix again too .

Hello Alberto,

 

Thank you for responding to my need for assistance.  I can answer your questions effectively.

 

The laptop, an Acer TMP645-MG-9419, VGA port has been tested one another yet, newer LED flat panel monitor.  This is the Dell U2412Mb (Dell UltraSharp 24 Monitor: U2412M | Dell ).  All went well with this trial despite the fact that it was superficial.  By superficial I mean I merely plugged the VGA cable connected to the U2412Mb into the TMP645 VGA port and the Dell monitor worked fine.  No adjustments required.  I have also successfully used an older laptop, a Lenovo ThinkPad X201, with the TV/monitor, an LG LN-T4061F, and the VGA cable we leave connected to the LN-T4061F for streaming purposes.  Additionally, I also have another Samsung 1080p LCD monitor of a similar vintage to our LN-T4061F.  This is the T260HD but, I have not connected the Acer TMP645 to the T260HD as of yet.  I am currently using the T260HD with my X201 to respond to you.

 

I will try your suggestions and let you know if I am able to make progress.  Thank you again for your involvement.
